Industrial Bank becomes one of the first suppliers of Apply Pay service to Chinese users on February 18.
This is a brand-new method of mobile payment and a type of secure, fast and fashionable payment service. Personal cardholders of IB can load UnionPay cards onto iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad, enjoying the experience of more convenient consumption payment at offline stores or on-line stores (APP).
Main functions of "Apple Pay"
☆POS consumption☆
When using an iPhone for transaction, one may move the mobile phone near the POS terminal with the mark of "Cloud Quick Pass" and then directly finish the transaction by verifying the fingerprint on the Touch ID.
When using an Apply Watch for transaction, one may press the side button twice in succession and move the watch near the POS terminal with the mark of "Cloud Quick Pass" to finish the transaction.
Merchants supported: Mcdonald's, Carrefour, Burger King, KFC, Mannings, Alldays, Pacific Coffee, NGS Supermarket, RT-MART, COSTA, and Wuyuan Discount, etc.

☆On-line App consumption☆
When using an iPhone or iPad for transaction, one only needs to choose Apply Pay for settlement and payment and can then directly finish by verifying the fingerprint on the Touch ID.

☆Inquiry of transaction records☆
Apple equipment will display the information of the latest transaction. Please log on the mobile banking or Internet banking system of IB to check the transaction results.
☆Telephone banking supported for handling Apple Pay service☆
Clients may dial 95561 to handle service regarding cards loaded onto Apple Pay equipment as information inquiry, report for loss, cancellation of loss report, and cancellation.

• Off-line payment users may use iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch, etc.
· On-line payment users may use iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro, etc.
· The system must be updated to IOS 9.2, watchOS 2.1 or higher versions.
☆Steps of application☆
For clients with IB cards, the application of Apple Pay may be done in the following operation steps:
1. iPhone users: Open the Wallet App in the iPhone, click "Add credit card or wealth management card" to enter the application page of Apple Pay, and key in the name and card number.
Apple Watch users: Add with the Watch App self-contained in the iPhone equipment.
iPad users: Apply via "Setup" → "Wallet and Apple Pay".
2. After confirming the information of relevant terms and approval of submitted application, key in the SMS password for verification, and complete the application of Apple Pay card and activation. Then, one can do shopping and make payment.
Note: All chip cards with card numbers beginning with 622908 and magnetic strip cards with card numbers beginning with 622909, for which the SMS passwords have been activated, can be used for apply for Apple Pay, but e-card is not supported for the time being.
