Application Guide

I. Online Mobile Banking

1. Open the mobile browser and enter the mobile banking address: http://wap.cib.com.cn or http://3g.cib.com.cn in the address bar to visit the mobile banking website;

2. Choose “China Mobile User”, “China Unicom User” or “China Telecom User” to log on according to the operator for your mobile phone number;

3. You can choose any of the following three methods to log on to the mobile banking system: Mobile banking login name + mobile banking password, IB wealth management card number + trading password, and IB credit card + inquiry password.

II. Mobile Banking Client

(I) Download client

1. iPhone customers

(1) Open the App Store in the iPhone, enter the keywords “Industrial Bank” in the search box, and then click “search”. Click to select “Industrial Bank Mobile Banking” from the search results, and then, directly install the new iPhone mobile banking client (version No. 1.1.0).

(2) After you have downloaded and installed the old iPhone mobile banking client (version No. 1.0.0), when using the old version, the system will prompt you to upgrade the system, and then you can click to select “upgrade immediately” and operate as suggested to upgrade to the new iPhone mobile banking client .

2. Android customers

(1) Visit the online mobile banking (http://wap.cib.com.cn or http://3g.cib.com.cn) with an Android mobile phone, click to select “download client”, and download and install it.

(2) Visit the website of the bank (www.cib.com.cn) using a computer, enter the “download center” to download the Android client software, and synchronize the mobile phone with the computer via the data cable to install the client.

(II) Logon instructions

1. Opening the mobile banking client (logon not required), you can enjoy the special client value-added services. For instance, you can click to select “financial market” to check the net value of funds, “precious metals” to view the metal market situation, “about IB - outlet inquiry” to get information about IB outlets on the map, and “wealth management calculator” to see information on deposits and loans.

2. Open the mobile banking client, click to select “mobile banking”, and choose “ordinary login”. After logging on, you can access various services conveniently, such as account inquiry, service management, IB wealth management, precious metal trading, agency fund transaction, bank-securities business, wealth management products, IB wealth management, foreign exchange trading, loan financing, credit card, and credit card repayments.

3. If you need to access services such as “transfer and remittance” and “self-service payment”, you must first go to an IB outlet or log on to internet banking with a certificate to activate the relevant functions; and then, you can open the mobile banking client, click to select “mobile banking”, and choose “China Mobile User”, “China Unicom User” or “China Telecom User” to log on to mobile banking according to the operator for your mobile phone. It should be noted:

(1) iPhone customers

To choose “China Unicom User” or “China Mobile User” to log on to mobile banking, iPhone customers must first enter the module “network setup”, and then click to select “mobile banking network setup” for one-key setup. After handling the service, the customer can click to select “restore mobile phone network setup” in the module “network setup” to restore the initial network setup for iPhone with one key.

A. Mobile banking network setup

Select “network setup” on the main menu page of the iPhone Client, click the corresponding button “mobile banking network setup” according to the mobile phone operator → on the page for installing the description file, click to select “install”, and the message box “install description file” will pop up → click to select “install now”, and after finishing the installation, click to select “finish” → click to select the “HOME” key of the iPhone to return, open the IB mobile banking client again, and click to select the “mobile banking” icon to choose the corresponding mobile phone operator for accessing services after logging on.

B. Restore network setup

Select “network setup” on the main menu page of the iPhone Client, and click the corresponding button “restore mobile phone network setup” according to the mobile phone operator → on the page for installing description file, click to select “install”, and the message box “install description file” will pop up → click to select “install now” (or “replace”), and after finishing the installation, click to select “finish”. You will have restored the initial network setup for iPhone.

Or, you can choose the “setup” function of iPhone, click to select “general → description file → configure description file → CIB3gwap or CIBcmwap →click ‘remove’ ” in sequence, to restore the initial network setup for iPhone.

(2) Android customers

To choose “China Mobile User”, “China Unicom User” or “China Telecom User” to log on to mobile banking, Android customers must first change the access point of the Android mobile phone into wap. In general, the route for the access point setup of an Android mobile phone is: setup → wireless and networks → mobile network setup → name of access point, China Mobile users should choose cmwap, China Unicom users 3gwap or uniwap, and China Telecom users ctwap.

4. Mobile phone operator setup

Both the iPhone mobile banking client and Android mobile banking client have the function of automatically recording the operator selected by customers. If a customer chooses an operator when logging on to mobile banking, and logs on successfully, the client will automatically record the operator chosen by the customer, and will not require him or her to choose the operator again when next logging on. If you have changed to another mobile phone, you can modify the mobile phone operator or clear the saved operator setup via the procedure “Home page of client – Help for users – Mobile phone operator setup”.

5. Log on to mobile banking via WIFI

Using a WIFI network, you do not log on to mobile banking through the network of any operator, so you can only choose “ordinary login” to log on to mobile banking via WIFI. If you need to access services such as transfers and payments, please first close the WIFI network and then log on to mobile banking through the operator’s network.

◆ Application Guide

Most mobile banking services can be accessed without prior application, but the transfer, payment and mobile payment functions can be used only after application.

Service Application Instructions:

I. Application for the services of transfer and remittance and self-service payment

1. Go to any IB outlet or log on to the personal banking system with a certificate → Service Management → Function Customization → Mobile Banking Service Application, to activate / modify / deactivate the mobile banking functions of designated transfer, free transfer and self-service payment.

2. After activating the designated transfer / free transfer of mobile banking, you can access the services of transfer and remittance via mobile banking; after activating the function of self-service payment, you can access the service of self-service payment via mobile banking.

II. Application for mobile phone top-up service

1. Wealth management card: After activating the SMS password and online payment service with a wealth management card, you can pay fees for the mobile phone number receiving the SMS password through “Mobile Phone Top-up”. The SMS password and online payment service can be activated at any outlet of the bank or on the internet banking system with a certificate.

2. Credit card: Log on to the internet banking system for credit card → online payment → activate/deactivate online payment function, and activate the RMB online payment function for your credit card. Then, you can pay fees for the mobile phone number reserved in the credit card system through “Mobile Phone Top-up”.


III. Mobile Lottery

(1) Log on to personal internet banking with a certificate → Service management → Function customization → Application for mobile payment service, activate / modify / deactivate mobile payment with bank card.

(2) Or apply to activate the mobile payment with bank card at any IB outlet.

(3) Only China Mobile numbers are applicable, and the daily payment limit cannot exceed RMB 5,000.

IV. Register Mobile Banking

Customers can use an IB wealth management card or credit card to register mobile banking and define their login name and mobile banking password. After registration, customers can log on to the mobile banking system with their login name to manage multiple accounts. With online mobile banking, click to select “Service Application – User Registration” in sequence, and then operate according to the advice provided; with the mobile banking client , click to select “Help for Users – Mobile Banking Service Application – Register” in sequence, and operate according to the advice provided.
