I. Service Application Procedures and Channels
1. Activating mobile payment:
(1) Login to Mobile Banking → Service Application → Activate Mobile Payment for wealth management Card to activate the mobile payment service. The mobile number input by the customer must be the same as the one saved in the bank system; otherwise the customer must activate the service at an outlet or in Online Banking with a certificate.
(2) Login to Online Personal Banking → Service Management → Account Authority Administration → Mobile Payment Service Application, activate/modify/close the mobile payment service.
(3) Apply for the activation the mobile payment service at any outlet of the Industrial Bank.
2. Upon completion, the customer should receive a text message sent by UMPAY’s special service number (10658008) which indicates the successful application for “Mobile Wallet” and includes the initial password for mobile payment. The text message should read “…Mobile Wallet service has been activated. The IB card is successfully bound and the password for Mobile Wallet is XXXXXX…”, where the six digits XXXXXX is the initial password of Mobile Wallet. The application process will be complete only when the client has received this text message.
3. After receiving the password for mobile payment, the customer is kindly required to change the password immediately by sending the message “XGMM ******” to “106580089XXXXXX”, where “******” is the new six digit password and “XXXXXX” is the old password. There is a space between “XGMM” and “******” but no space between “106580089” and “XXXXXX”. Once it has been changed successfully, the customer should receive a text message notification from UMPAY’s special service number (10658008) indicating the successful change of password.
II. Notes on Service Application
1. Applying for a Mobile Phone
1) Only China Mobile numbers are supported by the Mobile Wallet service.
2) Once the “Mobile Wallet” service has been applied for successfully, the customer’s mobile phone number and bank account are bound together. One mobile phone number can only be bound to one bank card.
3) The customer can enjoy IB’s “Mobile Wallet” service only with the phone number that has been bound.
4) When the customer shops and makes a payment via the “Mobile Wallet” through his/her mobile phone number, the settlement funds will be paid directly from the bank account in question.
2. Payment Limit
1) When applying for the “Mobile Wallet” service, the customer shall specify the daily limit, i.e. the upper limit of outward payment through the mobile phone within one day.
2) The daily limit is RMB 5,000, so the daily limit specified by the customer shall not exceed RMB 5,000.
3) Customers may change the daily limit at any outlet of our bank or in Online Personal Banking with a certificate.
3. Service Cancellation
At present, customer may cancel the “Mobile Wallet” service in any of the following two ways:
1) The customer my cancel the service at any outlet of our bank or in the Online Personal Banking service with a certificate
2) Send text message “0000” to “10658008”.
If successful, the customer should receive a text message sent by UMPAY’s special service number (10658008) indicating the successful cancellation of the service.
