Online Loan
With CIB Online 3.0, you can submit loan application form online, or obtain pledge loan secured by your term deposit or treasury bond online. For loans applied online, you can also repay them via IB Internet Banking.
SMS protection for online transaction
After a successful application for this service, both the account password and the additional verifying code sent, in a manner of SMS, to your mobile phone by IB, are needed for the conclusion of a transaction when you conduct outward disbursement, OSP and bill payment operations.
Trial Credit Line of Bill Payment and OSP
The trial credit line is dedicated to the general clients. The RMB 500 trial credit line of bill payment and OSP are free of counter application.
Online application for IB Card and IB E-Card
Assets and Liabilities Overview
Information about all your assets and liabilities in accounts enrolled under your Personal Client Number will be visually displayed in a pie chart, giving you a clear and intuitional overview of them.
Bill Payment Schedule and Disbursement Arrangement

4. What is automatic deposit conversion upon designated limit (ADC)?
It's a feature specially designed for IB Card and IB E-Card clients, enabling you to convert your demand deposit into term deposit or call deposit by designating the amount of retained money for your demand account, the amount of new deposit and its term. When the balance in your demand account exceeds the retained amount, and the excess is more than the converted amount,IB Internet Banking will open a new term account or call account according to your designated terms.
5. Can I handle loss report via IB Personal Internet Banking?
Yes, but just limited to emergent report with effective period of 3 days. The funds in your reported account cannot be transferred out during the effective period. A formal report of loss at any counter of your account branch bank within 3 days is needed.
6. What is account rights management (ARM)?
It's a management service based on the Personal Digital Certificate for IB Internet Banking. With this service of the ARM, you can check the banking services that have already been opened, open or modify any e-banking service provided by IB.
7. What are the Logon Password, the OSP Password and the Account Password? What's the difference?
The Logon Password is the password needed when you access to CIB Online, which is set up when you applying for the PCN of IB Internet Banking. 8-bit password with both letters and numbers is recommended for the sake of security.
The OSP Password is dedicated to payment of online shopping, which is designed to ensure that the payment instruction we accept is sent from you. It is better to change the OSP Password on a regular basis.
The Account Password is the most fundamental one. Holders of the Account Password can inquire about the PCN of the linked account, change the OSP Password and the Logon Password.
8. Do I have to apply for different PCNs for different IB Cards or different IB accounts?
No. One PCN corresponding to one of your draw-on-demand accounts is what all you need. And the other accounts can be linked and managed by this PCN as you register them under this PCN.
9. What can I do if I forget my PCN?
Click on “Forgetting Client Number” on the IB Personal Internet Banking logon page, input the account number and the corresponding account password of any of the accounts linked under this PCN, you can get the forgotten PCN online.
10. What can I do if I forget my Logon Password?
Click on “Forgetting Logon Password” on the logon page, input the account number and its password of any of the accounts linked under your PCN. CIB Online will send a new logon password to your mobile phone or email as requested.
11. Why is my PCN locked up?
Your PCN will be locked up for 6 times of consecutive incorrect logon password inputs, which is designed to keep your PCN from malignant use. You can unlock it at any of the bank's counter of your account branch in person, bringing together with you your ID card and any of the registered account under the PCN.
Besides, the PCN can be locked by yourself. When you cannot access to CIB Online due to the malignant change of your Logon Password, you can lock your PCN by clicking on “Locking up my PCN” on the logon page, and reset a new one at any of the bank's outlets.
12. What should I pay attention to when entering card number or account number?
Make certain that your input is correct and complete. The IB Card number is made up of 16 or 18 digits, the IB all-in-one passbook number has 10 digits, and the number of other account consists of 18 digits.
13. What's the difference between the total credit line and the daily credit line of the OSP?
The total credit line of the OSP is the accumulated total amount of money you can pay out from your OSP account when shopping online, while the daily credit line of the OSP establishes the limit of your online shopping payment within a day. Both of them can be set up and modify to serve your demand.
14. Is there an amount limit on online transfer and remittance?
The upper limit of the outward transfer is RMB 200,000 (not included) per transaction. You can set up your personal daily transfer limit at your discretion within this upper limit.
15. How long will it take for the receipt of the online transfer and remittance?
It depends on the beneficiary's account. For the IB account, it happens in real time. For the local non-IB account, it takes place within 2 days. While for the non-local non-IB account, it may costs 3 days.
