Service Outline

SMS Value-added services are mobile financial services provided to you by the bank (on the basis of agreement) in the form of mobile phone SMS messages. They include “Smart Messenger” SMS value-added services and special SMS value-added services for credit cards, internet banking and foreign exchange systems.

Industrial Bank Nationwide Special Service Line for SMS Value-added Services: 95561 (China Mobile) and 1069009595561 (China Unicom).

“Smart Messenger”

Notification of Account Activity: includes information of any changes that occur in your account, such as changes to the funds in your account following the depositing or withdrawing of cash, investing and wealth management, transfer payments and the swiping of the card during a purchase.

Notification of Balance: includes notification of balance and notification that the balance has exceeded the limit.

Notification of Transaction and Password Protection: includes notification of due loan repayment, notification of failure in automatic repayment, and notification of the wrong input of transaction password.

Notification of Fund Net-value: For personal clients only, i ncludes notification of fund net-value and notification that the net-value has exceeded the limit.

Manual Check: includes balance checking and the details checking of the last three transactions on the day in question. The client can make the check by sending special-format SMS message to the Industrial Bank Nationwide Special Service Line. Customers of China Mobile send messages to 95561 whereas customers of China Unicom send messages to 1069009595561.

Credit Cards

Credit card SMS value-added services are provided by the Bank and are available to credit card holders. They include special SMS value added services for credit cards, such as notification of account activity, SMS notification of important information changes and interactive SMS services.

Real-time Notification of Account Activity: When a transaction is made using your account, a message of notification is sent to you according to the result of the authorization or transaction.

SMS Notification of Important Information Changes: notification of card receipt acknowledgement, notification of successful password change, card change and pre-card change notification, notification of the cancellation on consumer password, notification of successful change of account mailing address, notification that card application has been passed, card activation prompt, overdue client account prompt and prompt of repayment account result.

Interactive SMS Services: includes SMS messages initiated by the clients such as bill and points enquiry, acknowledgement of card receipt, activation/deactivation of SMS transaction notifications, card loss and card loss report. Messages must adhere to a certain format. China Mobile users send messages to 95561 whereas China Unicom users send messages to 1069009595561.

Report Card Loss

Online Banking

Online Banking SMS value-added services are available to Industrial Banks' personal online banking users. They include SMS protection of online transactions and other online banking SMS services. After the user has activated online banking SMS services for transactions, the bank will send an authentication code to the client's mobile phone in an SMS message (that can only be used once) every time that the client makes an account transfer, or bill payment through the online bank. The client must input the correct authentication code online in order to complete the transaction. This makes transactions online even safer.

Foreign Exchange System

Foreign exchange system SMS value-added services are available to users of the Industrial Bank's personal spot foreign exchange buying and selling system. They include price level notification, pending order notification and information services.

Price level Notification: Clients can pre-define a price level (median price), and will receive notification when the market prices (median price) reaches this level.

Pending Order Notification: Clients will receive notification when the pending order goes through or is invalidated.

Information Services: Foreign exchange information service messages will send by our team of foreign exchange analysts, including crucial information and market analysis.
