IB Releases MINI·SHINY Constellation Credit Card Nationwide

(April 9, 2008, Shanghai) Following the success of its Platinum Credit Card, the Industrial Bank's Credit Card Center today announced the release of its “MINI·SHINY Constellation Credit Card”, a set of credit cards themed around the 12 signs of the zodiac. The center announced that the cards would be available for national release. These cards are specifically aimed at today's fashion conscious youth who are eager to express themselves. It is reported that this is the first MINI·SHINY Constellation Credit Card to be released nationally.

Over recent years, horoscopes have become popular among China's fashion conscious youth. Being quick to realize this demand, the Industrial Bank has designed a set of credit cards themed around the twelve signs of the zodiac, known as “MINI·SHINY Constellation Credit Card”, that are able to better show off the individuality of card holders. According to the Bank, this set of cards consists of two regular sized cards (with both UnionPay and VISA logos) and twelve VISA MINI cards for each sign of the zodiac. Card designs have masterfully integrated the different aspects of each sign, including the legends surrounding the sign, its associated lucky color and its unique character traits. The individuality expressed in the cards makes them highly attractive to fashion conscious people. The Visa Mini Cards that are included in the set are 43% smaller than a standard credit card. Furthermore, they are made using the latest SHINY card production techniques, which allows the cards to gleam like stars in the night sky. This is why they are called MINI·SHINY credit cards.

The Industrial Bank has also come up with a number of unique functions and privileges to match the unique designs of the cards. The Bank has invited renowned Asian Astrologer “Little Astprince” to write a regular column on special website for MINI·SHINY Constellation Credit Card. Card holders will also be able to have personalized monthly horoscopes sent to them via e-mail. Furthermore, points gained though the use of the card can be exchanged for numerous special zodiac themed gifts. The card also provides holders a number of other special offers, such as no annual fees for the first year, no service charge for the first cash advance of each account month and the chance to win a Victorinox Swiss army knife!
