Since the direct sales of fund products online is cost effective than the traditional counter sales, fund houses can not only waive your fund account opening fee, but also offer more preferential handling charge.

With IB Card, you can not only purchase fund products of different fund companies, but also can invest in various fund products of the same fund company.

Presently, up to one hundred fund products issued by 29 big fund houses are available. More will be introduced later.

Compared with the traditional counter transactions, you are exempted from the time and cost rushing to the business office through online transactions.

(1) Is there any necessary application?

All that you need to do is to log on to CIB Online, find “ChinaUnionPay Fund” and follow the system to open the service by your self.

No counter application is necessary.

(2) How to make fund trade?

After opening, you are able to conduct fund trade through the Internet site of fund houses, or through the links provided by CIB Online or Chinaunionpay.

(3) What fees are charged?

Subscription fee, purchase fee, and redemption fee according to fund prospectus, with certain discount for IB Card clients.

Handling charge of inter-bank transfer.

No handling fee for the opening of fund account.

(4) When can I inquire the fund units of my subscription?

T+ 2 in general.

(5) When can I get refunded when the subscription or the purchase is failed?

Your money will be transferred into your IB Card on a T+2 basis, and you can initiate a new purchase/subscription 3 days later (T+3).

(6) When shall the redemption money arrive at my card?

According to relevant regulations of fund houses, the redemption funds will reach your card on T+4 day, and it can be used from T+5 day on.
