1. Open a personal banking account (debit card or savings book) with password.

2. Visit www.cib.com.cn , and apply for IB internet banking. Applications can be made as follows:

3. For the safety of your funds, there are two modes of activating all internet banking functions for you to choose from:

(1) Apply at the counter at any IB outlet with your ID card (original) and an IB account for which internet banking will be activated.

(2) Directly open up or close the required functions of internet banking by logging on to internet banking with a certificate.

Note: Applications for an internet banking certificate have to be made at an IB outlet.

If you do not have a personal IB account that includes a password, you may click on “IB e-card” on the Bank's home page, following which, select “I have neither a client ID code for personal internet banking nor a IB account with a password”, to apply for an e-card as well as personal internet banking.
