IB Signs an Agreement for Further Cooperation with the XPCC

The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is a unique organization that represents an integration of the Party, Government, military and corporate sector. The XPCC has been a fundamental part of Xinjiang for many years and has played a massive role in accelerating local economic development, promoting unity among ethnic groups, maintaining social stability and consolidating border defense.

The IB has been engaged in friendly cooperation with the XPCC since its branch in Urumqi was established, and has worked with the numerous companies and corporations under the organization in a number of areas. The Urumqi Branch of the Industrial Bank has also set up a special department to offer dedicated banking services to the XPCC. In the interests of expanding and deepening the cooperation between the two parties, Vice President of the Industrial Bank Chen Dekang and XPCC Deputy Commander Liu Jianxin signed an agreement for widespread cooperation on April 25, which will primarily focus on close cooperation in regard to 16 industries, the likes of non-ferrous metals and the processing of agricultural by-products. Additionally, according to the agreement, the IB will assemble a specialist service team that will research and formulate professional and comprehensive financial service schemes for the XPCC.
