The results of the 3rd Chinese Securities Journal Cup “Ten Most Competitive and Trusted Listed Companies” were announced in Hangzhou on June 15, 2008. The Industrial Bank came out on top to claim the number one spot in the Top 10 Listed Companies for Future Growth. The Industrial Bank has caught the attention and earned the favor of investors in the capital market with its rapidly improving performance, effective financial risk protection, steady shareholder returns, innovation in financing and increased emphasis on its responsibility to society, which has seen the bank develop sustainable finance and offer green credit in the aim of environment protection, energy-saving and emission-reduction of harmful gasses.
The event was jointly held by Sina.com and The Chinese Securities Journal. The winners were eventually selected on the basis of a public vote held in the Chinese Securities Journal, its website and Sina.com, a series of questionnaires completed by institutional investors and the deliberations of a panel of experts comprising of individual investors, institutional investors, investment banking experts, securities dealers and fund research organizations. Such methods of appraisal ensure the legitimacy of the results.
