The Industrial Bank was awarded three prizes at the first “Golden Credit Awards”, a domestic tournament that rates the credit cards issued by domestic banks. The event was jointly sponsored by Southern Metropolis Weekly and the Financial Research Institute of Shanghai Fudan University.
The specific prizes awarded to the Industrial Bank were: the “Best Theme Planning Award” for the Bank's “China Heart Credit Card”, the “Best Lover Credit Card” for the “Garfield Lover Card” and the “Goldfinger Credit Card Person of the Year” for Yan Xuewang, the General Manager of the Bank's Credit Card Center. The Industrial Bank put in an outstanding performance among China's joint-stock commercial banks.
The winners of the “Gold Credit” awards were selected by a panel consisting of more than one million web users and 20 authoritative experts in the industry. The nation's major card issuing banks all competed in the event. At the award ceremony, experts from various circles engaged in-depth discussions on topics such as the market prospects, development modes and brand promotion of credit cards.
