The Industrial Bank Makes it into the FT500

The Industrial Bank was among two Fujian companies that made the 2009 FT 500 global rankings published by the Financial Times in recent days. The Industrial Bank entered the rankings for the first time in 292 nd place with a total market value of USD 16.814 billion. The Industrial Bank ranked 16 th among the 27 companies from Mainland China that made the rankings. The other company from Fujian Province included in the listings was the Zijin Mining Group.

The Financial Times FT500 is an annual survey and ranking of the world's largest companies based on market value. The survey has been conducted for 13 consecutive years, and is one of the most authoritative and talked-about company rankings in the world. A total of 47 Chinese companies made the rankings, of which, 27 are from Mainland China, 16 are from Hong Kong and 4 are from Taiwan. The combined market value of these companies stands at USD 1.897 trillion.
