In July 2009, the Industrial Bank completed a full upgrade of its telephone banking service (95561). The upgrade involved increases in the seating capacity and IVR lines of the customer service system as well as significant enhancements in marketing, multi-channel interaction, transaction processing and operation management. With this, a fully-functional comprehensive service platform integrating enquiries, customer care, product marketing and transaction, investing and financing, personal loan collection and VIP value-added services has essentially taken shape.

This upgrade is another significant step taken by the Industrial Bank to implement its policy of putting customers first and providing all-round satisfactory services. Upgraded telephone banking boasts the new functions of gold trading, intelligent notification deposit (Ease Fortune) and services. Clients can process a full range of gold trading transactions through the service (95561), such as declaration, inquiry, bond transfer and delivery application. This means that clients can now trade gold without even needing to set a foot outdoors. Also, clients can easily apply for intelligent notice deposit (Ease Fortune) or make modifications, cancel the service, make an inquiry or request withdrawal over the phone. Intelligent notification deposit (Ease Fortune) refers to a service in which current savings retain the flexibility offered by a current account whilst earning the interest of notice deposits that much higher than current deposit.

In order to enhance the customer experience, the Industrial Bank has integrated the interactive elements of telephone banking, internet banking and mobile banking to offer integrated services like online customer service access and SMS notification services. This represents a more diverse and user-friendly service approach. Through online customer service, clients can call 95561 client representatives for help via Internet, enjoying convoy while handling online baking. With SMS notification services, clients will receive notification after making transactions, such as transfer between fixed and current accounts, withdrawal of intelligent notice deposit (Ease Fortune), fixed transfer and fund transactions. These messages allow clients to keep up to date with the latest account information, and also provide another layer of security.
