IB Staff Donate RMB 1 Million to Flood-stricken Areas in Fujian

Starting from June 13, Fujian Province witnessed prolonged torrential rains. The rains caused serious flooding over widespread areas, resulting in huge losses. Staff from the Industrial Bank, a Fujian based bank, have closely followed the latest news on the flooding. Under the leadership of the head bank party committee, employees have made efforts to ensure that branches in flood stricken regions stay open, and have sought to minimize the impact to normal services and operations. On the other hand, bank employees have also demonstrated their “all for one” spirit by making a donation of RMB 1 million to flood-stricken areas through the Fujian Provincial Charity Federation. This donation will aid the disaster relief effort and help to resume production and rebuild homes in stricken areas.

Meanwhile, the IB has stated that branch organizations at all levels will communicate with local governments actively and visit disaster stricken areas to ascertain the situations there, promptly ascertain credit needs and provide financial services for post-disaster reconstruction.
