November 20, 2010, the Awards Ceremony of the 5th Appraisal of China's Investor Relations sponsored by the China Listed Company Investor Relations Management Research Center was held in Nanjing. On the strength of its sound investor relations management, the Industrial Bank was named “Runner-up in the Top 100 Chinese A Share Listed Companies for Investor Relations” for a second time. In addition, Board Chairman Gao Jianping was named “The Best Board Chairman” and BOD secretary Tang Bin was named the “The Best Implementer”. In the appraisal, IB was also granted the Social Responsibilities Contribution Prize and the Investor Relations Innovation Prize.
The “Appraisal of China's Investor Relations” is the most authoritative dedicated appraisal of the investor relations of listed companies in China. The appraisal has been held for five consecutive years so far. Overseen by the Shanghai Stock Exchange and supported by Nanjing University 's evaluation system and academic assistance, the appraisal involved a comprehensive evaluation of the standard and performance of listed companies in the management of investor relations in 2009.
