IB Actively Participates in the 2010 Banking Public Education Service Campaign

With the constant development and innovation of finance, financial products are becoming increasingly diverse and complex. It also offers tips on a variety of potential risks in banking and matters of importance. It is an easy way for people to learn about finance and learn how to guard against financial risks.

Under the uniform organization of the CBRC, IB's public education initiatives will enter full swing starting from the 28th . IB will organize promotional activities at over 500 outlets across the nation, which will include displaying promotional banners, posters, distributing promotional material and showing videos; it will send SMS messages to clients via its national customer service hotline “95561”; It will establish promotion sites in cities where IB has outlets to engage in “face to face” education, which will help people to clear any misunderstandings they have about finance by asking the professionals; IB will collaborate with the mainstream newspaper and websites in launching an “IB financial consumer education service column”, which will popularize financial knowledge and enhance the public's awareness of financial security in the form of articles and cartoons.

IB indicates that conducting public education services, popularizing financial knowledge and thereby enhancing the public's capacity to distinguish and guard against financial risks are the obligations of a bank. IB will relish this campaign as an opportunity to keep on conducting in-depth public education service activities, gradually establish an effective public education service system and regard public education as an important task.
