Industrial Bank Won the “Golden Tripod Award” of the 7th China Securities Market Annual Conference

On November 11, 2011, the 7th China Securities Market Annual Conference Award Ceremony was held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. With excellent business performance and outstanding social contributions, Industrial Bank (IB) was awarded the “Golden Tripod Award” for blue chip companies.

Initiated and sponsored by Securities Daily, the China Securities Market Annual Conference is an annual high-end summit for the Chinese securities circle. It has been held seven times since its initiation in 2004. The Shanghai Securities Exchange, Shenzhen Securities Exchange and China Financial Futures Exchange are the directing institutions of the annual conference. This annual conference has established seven Awards including the “Golden Tripod Award”, “Golden Eagle Award”, “Golden Phoenix Award”, “Golden Abacus Award”, “Golden Goblet Award”, “Golden Key Award”, and “Pioneer Award” for listed companies, fund companies, securities companies and intermediaries, etc. respectively. Specifically, the “Golden Tripod Award” is set up particularly for blue-chip companies. The appraisal is mainly based on financial data such as the last two years retained profit sustained growth trends of blue-chip companies, and their contributions to the net profits of the A share market in the last two years, as well as indices such as their support to the national economy and performance of social responsibilities. With the winner chosen through public appraisal by experts by way of internet voting, the award enjoys a relatively high authority in the industry.
