On August 30, Industrial Bank (IB) invited the professional team of Trout & Partners, a well-known strategic positioning consulting firm globally, to hold the strategic positioning salon for “IB Open Sesame” customers in Fuzhou, imparting strategic positioning theory to SME customers and discussing the approaches of business operation in the age of homogenized competition. The activity attracted board chairmen and general managers of over 20 enterprises coming from around China.
This strategic positioning salon is an extension of IB Open Sesame' SME IPO Program and a value-added service provided by IB to customers, aiming at having an in-depth understanding to the future development direction of enterprises and discussing with the decision-makers of enterprises on their strategic planning including corporate brand positioning.
As disclosed by Wang Yi, General Manager of the Small-sized Enterprises Department of IB, “IB Open Sesame” SME IPO Program has achieved desired effect with more than three years' development. By the end of this July, “IB Open Sesame” has cultivated nearly 4,000 outstanding customers pooled into the program, of which nearly 100 have successfully launched their IPOs, a total of more than 130 have passed the examination of CSRC or wait for the examination in the IPO guidance stage, and more than 150 have successfully introduce private equity.
“IB Open Sesame” SME IPO Program, in which IB combines the products of commercial banking and investment banking, is to provide enterprises with all-sided one-stop financial services integrating “creditor's right + stock right + IPO”, in collaboration with nearly 100 professional institutions including well-known venture capital companies and brokerages both at home and abroad. Now, the product covers six business sectors including capital navigation, capital attraction, IPO both at home and abroad, listing at the new three boards, SME private equity debt and marketing consultation. Rather than merely providing financial support for the development of enterprises, more importantly, it, serving as a shadow CFO of enterprises, helps them to break through various bottlenecks during their growth and gives counsel for their long-run development. After it was released to the market in the second half of 2010, the product was appraised as the “Characteristic Financial Service Product for Enterprises by a Financial Institution in the Chinese Banking Industry” by the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) in 2011.
This year is the 25th anniversary of IB. This strategic positioning salon is another important activity that IB provides all-sided integrated financial services to customers, fully showcasing the business concept of “Growing Together with Sincere Service” that the Bank has always adhered to.
