-- IB Credit Card Opens the Regular Donation Channel with Rewarded Points
As learnt by the reporter from Industrial Bank (IB), after raising nearly RMB 200,000 with the activity of “Ya'an, Push On – Extend Love to Needy Students with Rewarded Points” in this year to provide grants to 335 students in disaster-stricken Ya'an, the credit card center of the bank will release the regular credit card points based donation program named “Points Based Love” before the new year. To exchange charity funds with "rewarded points" for credit cards of the bank provides convenient channels for cardholders to pay attention to and participate in activities for “charity and public benefits”. At the first stop, the program will work together with China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation to raise donation for constructing “Future Space” for poverty-stricken students.
It is said that the “Future Space” project of China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation pays attention to the formation and cultivating children's sense of security, sense of stability and social adaptability in the poverty-stricken areas. This time, all the funds exchanged with credit card points in the donation program of “Points Based Love” of IB will be donated for building the “Future Space” for schools in the period of nine-year compulsory education in state-level poverty-stricken counties, conjoined poverty-stricken regions and surrounding areas of cities with concentrated children of migrant workers, donating books and intellect-encouraging and modern school supplies including projectors, colored mobile desks and chairs, computers, digital cameras, and intellect-encouraging teaching and tutorial supplies, and creating a three-dimensional and lively education classroom to foster the capabilities of children including innovative thought, multiple thinking, teamwork and vision extension, so as to bring the future of children with “self-confidence and happiness”.
During the program, relevant officer of IB Credit Card Center indicated, the holders of IB credit cards may, at the ratio of 750 points = RMB 1, exchange the rewarded points in their cards for charity funds by way of “all points” to join the donation program for “Future Space” in the following three approaches: First, write and send the short message of “CCAE + space + amount of donated points” with the mobile phone number bundled to the bank's system to 95561, the customer service hotline of IB;, second, log on the points mall of the bank, click the item of “Points Based Love – Future Space”, and choose and submit any amount of points to donate; third, write and send “CCAE + space + mobile phone number + space + amount of donated points” to the public official WeChat account of IB Credit Card (cib_creditcard). For instance, if Mr. Zhang intends to donate 15,000 points in his credit card account to the “Future Space”, he may send “CCAE 15000” to 95561 with the bundled mobile phone number. In this way, he donates RMB 20. The top two customers making the greatest donation of points in each natural year also have the opportunity to attend the activity of “Face to Face with the Aid Receiver” organized by IB in collaboration with public benefit organizations, extending love to the aid receivers to promote social positive energy.
As learnt by the reporter, in recent years, IB carried out public benefit activities for exchanging charity funds with credit card points. In the public benefit campaign of “Ya'an, Push On – Extend Love to Needy Students with Rewarded Points” organized in this May, the credit card points donated by 9931 cardholders with love within two months were worth RMB 18,600, and the grants were given to 335 students with excellent academic performance and high morality in the areas seriously affected by the disaster in collaboration with Sichuan Poverty Alleviation and Migration Office and China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation in this October.
As indicated by a relevant officer of IB Credit Card Center, IB's launch of the donation program of “Points Based Love” marks that the bank officially opens the regular convenient channel for donation of points. It is only the first stop of the program to donate points for building "Future Space". In the future, the program will, in cooperation with more public benefit organizations, carry out various activities in different themes so as to combine the goodwill of cardholding customers and pass on love.
