“IB Cup” Fuzhou First International Marathon Began
At 7:30 on December 20, at Fuzhou Strait Convention and Exhibition Centre, with the starting gun shoot at 2015 "Industrial Bank Cup" Fuzhou First International Marathon, about 15,000 runners were running on the picturesque Jiangbin Road vibrantly while breathing the fresh air in Fuzhou, experiencing the happiness brought by marathon and the green ecological city.
With 2,200 years of history and known for "beautiful mountains and waters, good air quality", Fuzhou is also the only city featured free trade zone, the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and national new zone in China. It is the first year for Fuzhou to organize an International marathon which attracted 15,000 road running enthusiasts from mainland China, Kenya, Ethiopia, the United States, Britain, Canada and Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan to participate. Started in Fuzhou, the only Fortune 500 company headquartered in Fujian - Industrial Bank is the title sponsor of this marathon event.
Marathon has been increasingly welcomed among the public in recent years. City marathon not only reflects the healthy and self-transcendence life attitude of participants, but also represents the vitality and civilized image of a city. There are men/women full, half and mini marathon races in this event. Along the track, you can see the slogans like "Once you finish, you're the champion" carefully prepared by the Bank as well as the volunteers from IB cheering for the marathoners zealously. It is learned that IB not only actively sponsored the tournament, but also strongly supported its customers throughout the country in participating in the Fuzhou marathon, providing them with event services such as registration, numbers and outfits distribution.
