The Industrial Bank, by virtue of its outstanding performance in clearing business and in issuance and underwriting of depository bond, exclusively won the “Special Achievement Award of RMB Interest Rate Swap and Agent Business”, and once again won the Outstanding Clearing Member Award and Excellence Award of issuance business, and also got the “Excellence Award of Central Counterparty Clearing of Interest Rate Financial Derivatives”.
Shanghai Clearing House plays an essential role in the development and safe operation of the interbank market. As one of first batch of comprehensive clearing members of Shanghai Clearing House, the Industrial Bank always actively participates in all business activities and continues to deepen bilateral business cooperation. Now it has been qualified in RMB interest rate swap, net debt clearing agent and other businesses, and comes out in front in terms of cooperative businesses with Shanghai Clearing House, including forward centralized clearing of standard bond, centralized clearing of RMB interest rate swap, registration and custody and settlement business. Data showed that, in 2015, the notional principal of RMB interest rate swap and clearing of Industrial Bank reached 948.169 billion yuan, ranking the third in the market; the denomination of bond underwriting stood 377.26 billion yuan, the number of underwritten bonds was 421, ranking the fourth; the newly initiated forward notional principal of standard bond reached 880 million yuan, ranking the first.

It is reported that the Industrial Bank is expected to be qualified in agent clearing business of net foreign exchange of Shanghai Clearing House.
