On November 21, 2016, the signing ceremony for USD syndicated loan of IB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called “IB Financial Leasing”) was held in Shanghai. With IB Hong Kong Branch as coordination bank, Bank SinoPac (China) Co., Ltd. and Fubon Bank (China) Co., Ltd. as co-appointed leading arrangement bank and book-keeping bank, and Bank SinoPac (China) Co., Ltd. as agency, IB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. succeeded in raising three-year syndicated Loan of USD 0.15 billion.
IB Financial Leasing has always attached great importance to cross-Strait financial cooperation. It worked with Taiwan-funded bank in this syndicated loan project. Both sides was in close cooperation and active coordination, opening up a new chapter for cooperation between IB Financial Leasing and financial institutions in Taiwan and Hong Kong and laying a solid foundation for coordinated development in the future.
All of the USD syndicated loan raised by IB Financial Leasing would be used to meet the need of fund of its aircraft leasing business. Over the past two years, IB Financial Leasing has conducted cooperation upon aircraft leasing business with AIR CHINA, China Southern Airlines and many airlines under this company, and delivered various types of commercial aircrafts to those companies, such as Boeing and Airbus. As of the end of September, 2016, the number of all types of aircrafts under the management of IB Financial Leasing (including orders) has reached nearly 60.
