Make an Attempt of Industrialized Layout and Deepen Construction of Scenarized Finance IB and Leshi Holding Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On November 8, before “Double 11” shopping carnival,the All-round Strategic Cooperation between IB and Leshi Holding cum Launch Ceremony for Joint Credit Card of IB and LeSports was staged in Beijing. Zheng Haiqing, vice-president of IB’s headquarter of Retail Bank and Lei Zhenjian, founder and CEO of LeSports signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of respective parties.

According to the agreement, IB and Leshi Holding will, through business integration and complementary advantages, carry out in-depth cooperation in fields including personal finance, credit card and payment account management, consumption installment and asset management, and provide high-quality and convenient services for more financial consumers and Internet users.

In recent years, IB vigorously promoted strategic layout of retail transformation, and has made progressive achievements in elderly care finance, community banks and credit card business. By the end of the third quarter of this year, its retail business has achieved a net profit of RMB 6.808 billion, with a YOY growth of 30% and business profit contribution rate exceeded 15%. The proportion increased significantly. Chen Jinguang, vice president of IB said that as retail transformation and innovation was pushed forward, retail business profit contribution rate will rise in the future. Internet ecological industry will play a major role in IB’s strategic layout of retail transformation. This cooperation with Leshi Holding is one of the steps for IB’s layout of Internet ecological industry.

It was introduced that IB and Leshi Holding will conduct full cooperation in joint card, online payment and consumption installment of retail finance field. In terms of joint card, based on joint issuance of joint cards, both sides are committed to expanding and improving functions of joint card in payment, consumption and fee-collection service, and integrating bank card account and prepaid card account of Leshi VIP as one; in terms of online payment, they will explore cooperation in online payment account and payment channel service. Based on demands of account management and bank payment channel of Leshi wallet, IB offers relevant account management services and payment services to Leshi Holding with regard to online LeMall, offline ecological experience, TV big screen mall and other scenes; in terms of consumption installment, they will carry out diversified consumption credit business cooperation of online and offline consumption scenes for VIPs of Leshi, and meet scene financing needs of VIPs of Leshi.

At the launch ceremony, “joint credit card of IB and LeSports”, the first product of this strategic cooperation, was officially launched. This joint credit card integrates IB’s credit card brand “Vigor Life” and sports ecology, one of seven ecology of Leshi Holding, takes sports events fans as targeted group, and possesses double attributes of IB’s credit card and LeSports’ VIP card. In addition to general financial service, a holder also enjoys various value-added rights and interests, such as the opportunity to participate in marathons at home and abroad, fitness benefit, domestic airport VIP hall, 24-hour non-accidental roadside assistance and public transport accident insurance provided by IB, as well as value-added service of “super LeSports VIP” provided by Leshi Holding.

Joint credit card of IB and LeSports enables one-stop service covering rapid credit-awarding, product sale, card activation and transaction installment, and builds a credit card payment and installment business marketing system based on ecological scenes of Leshi Holding in a targeted way.

This cooperation with Leshi Holding is another innovation in crossover cooperation of IB’s retail finance. IB’s retail finance began to make an attempt at crossover “transformation” from 2015, and made crossover layout of “financial plus sports” and product R&D of “finance plus industrial application” in a forward-looking way. It was devoted to in-depth integration between financial payment and life scenes, such as being the only designated cooperative bank and the exclusive title sponsor of Shanghai International Marathon and Chinese Youth International Football Championships, and working at sports finance marketing. IB also promoted R&D of mobile payment products through crossover thought, and was the first to launch derivative products of credit card including “Xing Power” mobile payment bracelet, mobile payment bracelet incorporated with bus application functions and high-end smart sports payment watch, and built a personalized and differentiated payment-centered and multi-scene financial product system.
