CIB Research Holds 2025 Mid-Year Strategy Conference in Fuzhou

From June 17 to 18, the “Innovation Leads the Way, Wisdom Gathers in Fujian—CIB Research 2025 Mid-Year Strategy Conference,” jointly hosted by CIB Research and China’s Industrial Bank (CIB) Fujian Management Department and co-organized by CIB Fuzhou Branch, was successfully held in Fuzhou. The conference adhered to the fundamental principle of “serving the real economy,” closely aligned with national strategies and focused on Fujian’s needs, sharing the latest cutting-edge research findings. CIB Vice President Yang Liu attended the event and delivered a speech.

Yang Liu stated that CIB Research, with serving national strategies as its fundamental focus, is exploring a distinctive path of “research empowerment” to support financial institutions in enhancing their industrial insights and precisely serving the real economy, thereby contributing its wisdom to China’s economic transformation, technological innovation, and the empowerment of real enterprises. Currently, Fujian is experiencing continuous policy dividends, accelerating industrial ecosystem formation, and remarkable achievements in economic development, opening-up, technological innovation, and ecological construction. Holding this mid-year strategy conference in Fuzhou is a concrete practice of CIB’s commitment to contributing more to Fujian’s economic development and offering insights for industrial growth.

The conference featured four specialized sessions: “Macroeconomics, Finance, Industries, and New Economy.” CIB Research experts shared their latest findings on domestic and international economic trends, the financial sector, foreign exchange and commodities, fixed income, the “Five Major Topics,” Fujian’s “Four Major Economies,” and leading industries. In recent years, CIB Research has closely aligned with national major strategies, conducting forward-looking, targeted, and reserve research to strengthen industrial insights, fully serve the real economy, build an industrial mapping system, and clarify industry trends and core corporate competitiveness. It has now covered over 50 sub-sectors, achieving near-complete coverage of major national economic industries. By deepening the integration of business and research, bridging the “macro-meso-micro” research framework, and balancing “short-medium-long-term” research priorities, CIB Research’s “Five-Ring Integration of Industry and Research” model has become institutionalized, effectively helping financial institutions accelerate transformation and navigate cycles steadily.
