[Green Operation] IB Holds “Group’s Training Class for Green Operation

From September 3 to 5, 2023, the Administration and Logistics Department of IB Head Office held the “Group’s Training Class for Green Operation” at the Tong’an Conference and Training Center of Xiamen, Fujian Province, which was attended by employees of the Head Office, branches and subsidiaries all over the country involved in the green operation. Taking a combination of internal and external lecturers from the Group, IB invited experts from CIB FINTECH Co., Ltd and SinoCarbon Innovation & Investment Co., Ltd, as well as professors from Renmin University of China to give face-to-face lectures under the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality on such topics as the goal setting of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the banking industry, the choice of path for low-carbon development, case studies of energy-saving and emission reduction actions, and the operation of the Group’s online system for the carbon inventory system, and organized seminars for the participants based on the contents of the lectures. This training further improved the ability of the Group’s key personnel in green operation, and laid a solid foundation for strengthening the Group’s green operation, carbon inventory and carbon management.
