IB Offers Priority Channels for Donations

On April 14, 2010 Beijing Time, Yushu County of the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, was hit by a magnitude-7.1 earthquake.

IB is offering priority channels for donations to the affected areas. All donations made to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Red Cross Society of China, Chinese Red Cross Foundation, and China Charity Federation through the IB's Internet Banking ( http://www.cib.com.cn) and Mobile Banking services (please visit http://wap.cib.com.cn or http://3g.cib.com.cn by mobile phones) are exempted from online transfer fees, online payment fees and mobile banking transfer fees. If you are an Industrial Bank client, you can make a donation now by following the steps below:

II. Donation by online transfer

(2) You will be required to activate Personal Internet Banking as well as the online transfer and online payment functions before you can male a donation. For the sake of security, you will be required to activate the online transaction SMS protection service (Application Guidelines) before you can make an online transfer or online payment with your IB wealth management card. For IB credit cards used for online payment, you will be required to logon and activate the online payment and SMS protection service.
If you are not a user of IB's Personal Internet Banking service, you may apply for Personal Internet Banking, and activate the online transfer, online payment and SMS protection (Application Guidelines) services at any outlet of the Industrial Bank by presenting your IB Wealth Management Card and ID card. Credit card users can activate the credit card online payment and SMS protection functions manually by logging on to IB's internet banking service for credit cards.
