Question: How can I report for the loss of my IB e-card?
Answer: Similar to wealth management card, you can log on to the homepage or personal internet banking of IB to submit an emergent loss report, or go to an outlet of IB to report for the loss of e-card at the counter. The e-card cannot be used in any channel after the loss report. After an emergent loss report, you must go to any outlet under the issuing branch to go through the formal loss report procedure within five days. Otherwise, the temporary loss report will become invalid after five days automatically.
Question: How can I change my IB e-card after reporting a loss?
Answer: After logging on to the personal internet banking system, you may apply for a new card under the menu “IB e-card”–“Management of Physical Card”, or you may go to any outlet of IB to apply for changing your card.
Question: How can I handle the loss report and resetting of password for my IB e-card?
Answer: The loss report and resetting of account password for IB e-card can be handled at any outlet of IB. Upon handling the service, you must provide your own original ID card and IB e-card number.
Question: Should I make confirmation after receiving a physical IB e-card?
Answer: After logging on to the internet banking system, you can receive and make confirmation under “IB e-card”–>“Management of Physical Card”, or you may go through the confirmation formalities at any outlet of IB.
Question: Can I cancel my account without a physical card?
Answer: The function of account cancellation is not available currently.
Question: How is it charged for a non-local inter-bank transfer with an IB e-card?
Answer: (1) If the transfer-in place has an IB outlet, the non-local inter-bank transfer and remittance with an IB e-card via internet will be free of charge. If not, the handling fees will be charged at the standard rate for non-local inter-bank transfer.
(2) As for the transfer to another non-local bank with an IB e-card at the counter of the outlet, the handling fees will be charged at the standard rate for non-local inter-bank transfer.TOP
