Regarding the pursuit of rational development approaches as an obligation, the Industrial Bank is committed to integrating its economic responsibilities with its social responsibilities, incorporating the notions of social responsibility and sustainable development into its development strategies and corporate governance structure, and exercising these concepts throughout all aspects of the bank’s management.
On the basis of interactions and communications with stakeholders, the bank publishes social responsibility reports on a regular basis. The reports cover IB’s undertakings, actions and progress in the fulfillment of social responsibilities and the promotion of sustainable finance.
In 2009, in order to better communicate to the public the sustainability concept of IB and popularize IB’s experience in promoting social responsibility practice, the corporate social responsibility Report of IB was officially renamed the sustainability report with a view to promote more social forces to join and support the sustainable development of economy, society and environment.
