A New Equator Bank – BMCE

On May 10, 2010, BMCE Bank publicly announced its commitment to the Equator Principles. In doing so, is promising to adopt the environmental and social risk management framework provided by the Equator Principles, and has become the first Equator Bank in the Maghreb and the French speaking African region. BMCE Bank is one of the biggest banks in Morocco, whose overseas business accounts for a large portion of its revenue. It mainly conducts financial business in Europe, Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa.
