IB was awarded for the first time the “People’s Award for Social Responsibilities of the Listed Companies” of People’s Daily Online

On January 8, 2011, IB was invited to attend the “Fifth People’s Social Responsibility Award and 2010 Appraisal of Social Responsibilities of Chinese Listed Companies” held by People’s Daily Online and won the first “People’s Award for Social Responsibilities of the Listed Companies”.

Around the subject of “Responsibility Makes Harmony and Innovation Wins the Future”, the appraisal activity first took listed companies as a separate group for appraisal and created some new awards such as “Social Responsibilities of the Listed Company”. In the activity, the performance of listed companies was investigated and appraised in the aspects of corporate governance, protection of rights and benefits, enterprise credit, protection of environment, and social harmony, with a view to assess the achievements of listed companies in practicing their social responsibilities, summarize experiences and promulgate cases. People’s Daily Online treated this acitivity as an opportunity to create a public opinion atmosphere that the whole society jointly pays attention to social responsibilities, accelerate forming the source power for all corporate citizens to fulfill their social responsibilities in a voluntary and conscious way and improve the understanding and practices of enterprises in social responsibilities.
